<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap of a PET bottle enabling a tamper evident band to be removed from the PET bottle together with a cap body in spite of its simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic-made cap (6) integrally includes a cap body (7) having a female thread (7a) formed on the inner circumference and engaging with the opening of the PET bottle (1), and the circular tamper evident band (8) integrally connected to the lower part of the cap body (7). A plurality of vertically extending cuts (8a) are circumferentially formed on the tamper evident band (8). There are circumferentially formed in the lower part of the inner circumference of the tamper evident band (8) a plurality of engagement pieces (8b) protruding from the space between the cuts (8a) in the axial direction and engaging with a flange part (5) formed in the opening (3) of the PET bottle (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
