<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display capable of optimizing a use amount of a memory, when applying an ultra resolution processing to original image information in response to a size of a window area for performing display output of the image information. <P>SOLUTION: An image holding part 15 is assigned by a control part 13, reads the N-number of image frames consecutive from the image frame input into the image display 100 at the present time, when inputting an informed magnification N, and stores those into a main storage part 3. The image frames stored in the main storage part 3 are output to an ultra resolution processing part 17. The ultra resolution processing part 17 is assigned by the control part 13, inputs the informed magnification N, inputs the N-number of image frames from the image holding part 15, and generates one sheet of the image frame having N-times of pixel number of the current image frame.
