摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve load characteristics while charging and discharging by securing a transportation route of lithium ions in a crystal structure of olivine type lithium containing phosphoric acid manganese. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material is used in the battery which is a composite material composed of carbon and a material having an olivine type structure as shown in a composition of Li<SB>1-y</SB>[Mn<SB>1-x</SB>M<SB>x</SB>]P<SB>z</SB>O<SB>4</SB>(wherein, 0<x&le;0.3, -0.05&le;y<1, 0.99&le;z&le;1.03, and M contains at least one or more of Li, Mg, Ti, Co, Ni, Zr, Nb, Mo, W) and has &ge;0.17 of an average half width obtained by a powder X-ray diffractometry method and moreover has &ge;0.7 and &le;1.0 of an intensity ratio of a diffraction line(011) near 20&deg; and a diffraction line(131) near 35&deg;. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
