<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data distribution system which achieves sufficient load balancing by not concentrating load on a specific editing server 3 even if a total amount and frequency of reception telegrams received by editing servers 3 are intensively varied in a specific point of transaction, brand, or category of business. <P>SOLUTION: The data distribution system includes: a serial number giving server 2 which gives processing serial numbers to received pieces of data in the reception order; a plurality of editing servers 3 which perform editing processing of data with serial numbers sent from the serial number giving server 2; and a distribution server 4 which distributes a plurality of pieces of edited data, which are sent from a plurality of the editing servers 3, in accordance with processing serial numbers.
