PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for concrete which can impart fluidity retainability at high temperature and early strength property so as to be demolded in a short time to concrete. SOLUTION: The admixture for concrete comprises: (A) a polymer composed of a structural unit containing a structural unit derived from a monomer expressed by formula (1): H<SB>2</SB>C=CHCOOCH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>OH by≥70 wt.%; (B) a naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate; and (C) at least one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of oxycarboxylic acid or the salt thereof, saccharide and sugar alcohol, and contains at a specified [(A)+(B)]/(C) weight ratio and a specified (A)/(B) weight ratio.
