PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve forward visibility with a high beam using a projector-type vehicular headlamp having a movable shade. SOLUTION: Each of a pair of lower reflection areas 14aL, 14aR, which are located on both right and left sides of an optical axis Ax in a lower end portion of a reflective surface 14a of a reflector 14, respectively, is formed to converge light from a light source 12a at a position located forward of a rear side focal point F of a projection lens 18 in a horizontal direction, and on the same lateral side as that of each of the lower reflection areas 14aL, 14aR with respect to the optical axis Ax. Thus, the pair of right and left light ray bundles are emitted from the projection lens 18, whereby a pair of additional light distribution patterns are formed on both sides of a lateral direction central portion in an upper area of a high-beam distribution pattern, respectively.
