PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete admixture capable of stably maintaining the air content and excellent in adjustment ability of the air content in a case wherein the air content of fresh concrete is gradually increasing. SOLUTION: The concrete admixture for adjusting the air content includes two kinds of different polyalkylene glycol-based compounds represented by the following general formula (1) R<SB>1</SB>-O-(EO)<SB>n</SB>-(AO)<SB>m</SB>-R<SB>2</SB>(wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>represent each independently one kind or two kinds or more selected from hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group and an alkanoyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, EO represents an ethyleneoxy group, AO represents an alkyleneoxy group of 3 or 4 carbon atoms, n represents an average added mole number of ethylene oxide, and m represents an average added mole number of alkylene oxide of 3 or 4 carbon atoms; the general formula (1) is expressed for convenience as a block addition product of ethylene oxide and alkylene oxide, but it may be either form of a block addition product or a random addition product).
