PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation environment setting system with high convenience.

SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus, upon detection of an unlocking operation of a door of one's own vehicle (S210: Yes), identifies a present day of the week and time zone as well as a user ID received from a portable apparatus held by a riding user (S215). A user ID of a user who makes a drive is estimated based on the present day of the week and time zone, the user ID of the riding user and a history information table (S230) and an operation environment is set based on the user ID and operation environment information received from the portable apparatus (S235).
