<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb as much impact caused by a hitting load as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This shoe 5 includes a spherical face part 11 having sliding contact with a semi-spherical sliding face 4a of a piston 4, and a flat end face part 12 having sliding contact with a swash plate 3, the spherical face part 11 and the end face part 12 being formed thinner to form an internal space S. The end face part 12 includes a bent portion 13 consisting of a recessed portion formed in the outer peripheral face of the shoe 5 and a protruded portion formed in the inner peripheral face of the shoe 5. The bent portion 13 is elongated/shrunk when a hitting load operates on the shoe 5 with the reciprocating motion of the piston 4.
