<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout printing system, capable of summarizing and laying out a plurality of documents in such a manner that an original document can be easily browsed by tracking the summarized documents, a layout document browsing method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: In the layout printing system, a print image forming device includes an acquisition means which acquires a plurality of electronic data from a storage device together with document IDs; an identification means which identifies a form type of each electronic data; a weight value determination means which determines a weight value for each of the electronic data from the form type; and a print image forming means which forms print image data by laying out the plurality of electronic data on a layout template based on the weight value of each electronic data while assigning identification information associated with the document ID.
