PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet cross feeding device for a mechanical parking device having a considerably simple configuration, manufacturable at low cost, capable of reliably moving a pallet, and maintainable easily. SOLUTION: A cross feed chain is endlessly wrapped around a cross feed drive sprocket and a driven sprocket which are disposed in the moving direction of the pallet. The cross feed chain includes an attachment which is engaged with the engagement plates of the pallet to feed the pallet. The center-to-center distance of the cross feed drive sprocket and the driven sprocket is equal to the distance between the engagement plates provided to one pallet. The distance between the engagement plates of the pallets adjacent to each other is equal to the length of half the periphery of the pitch circle of the driven sprocket. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
