PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To devise the arrangement of a torque limiter having a large weight and the like to improve the stability of a vehicle body and the like. SOLUTION: There is provided a walking type rice transplanter characterized by disposing a plurality of planting mechanisms 30 on the lateral direction of the vehicle body in parallel, disposing a power distribution shaft 57 for distributing powers from an engine 3 to the planting mechanisms 30, respectively, in the bottom portion of a transmission case 4, and disposing one or both of a planting clutch 64 enabling the connection or disconnection operation of transmission to the power distribution shaft 57 and a torque limiter 63 for disconnecting the transmission to the power distribution shaft 57 on the basis of an overload for the planting mechanisms 30, on the power distribution shaft 57.
