PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene-based film which has wrapping adaptability of a rice ball, a sandwich and the like, shows good transparency and appearance and hardly generates a smell from the film, in particular, a wrapping material which has high linearity of a tearing direction to an extruding direction of a resin during manufacturing the film even under the heating environment, and further has such an excellent tearing characteristic as low tearing strength. SOLUTION: The wrapping material composed of the polypropylene-based film is a non-stretched film containing at least two layers of a base layer and a surface layer wherein (1) the base layer contains 99 to 99.97 mass% of a polypropylene homopolymer having a melting point of not lower than 162°C and 0.03 to 1 mass% of a metal phosphate as an organic nucleating agent, and is not less than 10μm thick; (2) the surface layer is composed of a propylene-α-olefin copolymer having a melting point of not higher than 155°C, and is not less than 1μm thick; and (3) the thickness of the base layer is not less than 50 to less than 98% of the whole thickness of the wrapping material.
