<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a cabin interior material capable of mounting a cabin interior material without impairing marketability around a shift device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the mounting structure for the cabin interior material arranged around a shift device 5 of a vehicle, a shift escutcheon 7 is provided to constitute the periphery of the shift device 5. An opening part 13 for receiving the shift escutcheon 7 of the shift device 5 is formed in a console 1 arranged around the shift device 5. An engagement groove 19 is formed in an outer circumferential edge of the shift escutcheon 7. An engagement claw 20 to be locked to the engagement groove 19 of the shift escutcheon 7 is provided on an inner circumferential edge of the opening part 13 of the console 1. The engagement claw 20 of the console 1 is locked to the engagement groove 19 of the shift escutcheon 7, and the shift device 5 is mounted on the opening part 13 of the console 1.
