<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which the generation of malfunction and elimination of information or the like are less apt to occur, even if the movement for opening a lid part is started during operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electronic device (1) includes a battery housing part (2) for housing a battery (5), the lid part (3) to open andclose the battery housing part (2), a detection part (4) for detecting the start of the opening operation of the lid part (3), and a memory part (13), in which information regarding a state of the electronic device (1) is written, when the opening operation of the lid part (3) is detected by the detection part (4).
