PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module which is resistant to shock and vibration with robustness, by providing a vibration-shock absorbing part for absorbing vibrations and shocks in elastic contact with the end faces of unit batteries, held in insertion-fitted in a battery retainer part of a battery retainer frame. SOLUTION: In the battery module 23 provided with a plurality of pieces of unit batteries 16, retainer frames 1 to 12 equipped with retainer parts holding in insertion-fitted end parts of these unit batteries 16, and inter-battery connecting terminals 14, 15 connected to each unit battery 16 and fitted with the retainer frames 1 to 12 to pass electricity among the unit batteries 16; vibration-shock absorbing parts 1a to 12a for absorbing vibrations and shocks in elastic contact with end faces of the unit batteries 16, held by and insertion-fitted with the battery-retaining parts 1k to 12k of the retainer frames 1 to 12, are fitted in a ring shape or at several points, so that the robustness of the battery module is secured, by retaining the unit batteries 16 in an axis direction with the vibration-shock absorbing parts 1a to 12a, even if the forces of shock and vibration are added in a battery axis direction.
