<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel superior in display quality. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate provided with a pixel pattern piled up on a display area R and a dummy pattern 41 having two or more kinds of dummy pattern parts of mutually different thicknesses, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a plurality of spherical spacers 15. The spherical spacers 15 are disposed on the pixel pattern and are disposed using an ink jet method or a print method on one kind of the dummy pattern part among the two or more kinds of the dummy pattern parts. The spherical spacers 15 match a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate off the display area R with a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate piled up the display area R.
