PURPOSE: A tanning apparatus is provided, which is not harmful to the human body and can generate light of ultraviolet wavelength region which is safe for tanning. CONSTITUTION: A tanning apparatus comprises a body(10) capable of laying down the body; a door(20) equipped in the body; a tanning part(30) equipped in the inner surface of the door and body; a controller which is capable of controlling the ultraviolet light emitting diode; and a heat emission fan(40) which is installed to a part of the body and discharges the heat emitted in the tanning to the outside.
