<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display simple help on a setting screen for allowing a user to set a function for which he/she has browsed on a help screen, thus facilitating him/her to select and set a function and allowing him/her to learn and master function setting operation. <P>SOLUTION: A display which is connected to or mounted on an apparatus for function setting of the apparatus includes an input unit (touch panel unit) for performing operation, and a display unit for displaying a setting screen ST with one or more keys for selection and setting of a function in the apparatus arranged in a display screen, allowing switching of displays until reaching to a screen for setting an objective function each time a key is selected by input into the input unit, and even a help screen HP for explaining about each function settable on the display. If the help screen HP is browsed by input into the input unit, the display unit displays simple help display 8 for highlighting a key, for leading, to be selected on the setting screen ST so that the function browsed on the help screen HP is set and selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
