<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo signal recording device capable of improving recording accuracy of a servo signal. <P>SOLUTION: The servo signal recording device includes a main panel 24 including a magnetic head 26 for recording a tracking servo signal in a magnetic tape 300, a first motor 27, a second motor 28, and a capstan motor 29 for moving the magnetic tape 300, and supported by a casing 23 and having the magnetic tape 300 moved along its surface 24a, and a sub-panel 25 configured separately from the main panel 24, and supported by a base 21 in an non-contact state with the main panel 24.
