PURPOSE: A security system and a method using the same are provided to issue a pass card including access area information without giving the load to a worker. CONSTITUTION: A security system(100) comprises a registered person card, a visitor card, and an access determination unit. The access determination unit determines whether a visitor is admitted or not based on a reference. The access information is obtained from the access record based on card ID. The security system includes a plurality of receiving apparatus(50). The receiving apparatus comprises the visitor information storage and an ID card processor. The visitor information storage memorizes the rent state of the ID card.
