<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying device capable of dealing with articles of various sizes. <P>SOLUTION: The article carrying device 5 includes: a first rod member 23 including rear engaging members 22L and 22S; a second rod member 25 including front engaging members 24L, 24S; a moving means for moving the first rod member; and an advancing/retracting means for moving the second rod member relatively to the first rod member in the carrying direction. When large cartons Cb, Cc are carried, both the long rear engaging member 22L and the long front engaging member 24L protrude to form a first carrying state and sandwich the large cartons Cb, Cc (a) (b), whereas when a small carton Cs is carried, both the short rear engaging member 22S and the short front engaging member 24S also protrude to form a second carrying state and sandwich the small carton Cs (c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
