CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR, BEARING LIFE DECISION DEVICE USED FOR CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR, AND BEARING LIFE DECISION PROGRAM

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator capable of precisely predicting service life of bearing in reduction gears. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reduction gears in the centrifugal separator comprises: an input shaft; a cylindrical frame body coaxially connected to a rotation bowl; a reduction gear mechanism which is stored in the frame body and reduces the rotation of the input shaft; an output shaft which is connected with a screw conveyor and takes out the rotation reduced by the reduction gear mechanism; and a plurality of bearings. A bearing life decision device 53 in the centrifugal separator determines centrifugal force applied to the bearing in the reduction gears on the basis of the number of rotations of a main motor that rotates the rotation bowl. Further, on the basis of the determined centrifugal force and the output of a differential speed motor that rotates the input shaft, a load applied to the bearing is determined. The bearing life decision device 53 calculates the life time of the bearing on the basis of the decided load and decides the replacement time of the bearing on the basis of the calculated life time.
