PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a smaller diameter in a lens barrel and an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a guiding shaft provided at a fixed part that is a reference; a lens holding member holding a lens and having a first engaging part engaged with the guiding shaft movably along the guiding shaft; a second engaging part arranged at a position on the lens holding member biased in a direction different from a guiding shaft direction relative to the first engaging part; and a driving member engaged with the second engaging part and driving the lens holding member along the guiding shaft.
