PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a ground fault in a breaker for detecting a ground fault surely even at a high resistance state. SOLUTION: The detection device of a ground fault in a DC machine includes: a switchboard 1 that is grounded; a DC high-speed breaker 4 which is arranged in the switchboard 1 so as to be insulated from the switchboard 1 and has an outer box; a dedicated grounding wire 21 which connects the outer box of the DC high-speed breaker 4 and the ground; and a ground fault current detection CT 14 which detects a ground fault current flowing in the dedicated grounding wire 21.
