<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full color organic EL display device having a long lifetime and high definition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This full color organic EL display device has pixels composed of two sub-pixels in which organic EL elements are laminated. The first organic compound layer of the pixel is formed as a layer common to the adjoining sub-pixels of the adjoining pixels, and the second organic compound layer is formed as a layer common to the adjoining sub-pixels of the adjoining pixels on the opposite side.
