<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle evacuating device guiding a vehicle appropriately in accordance with the status of a driver whose consciousness falls off. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vehicle evacuating device is configured to determine whether the consciousness of the driver of a vehicle falls off (S1), and to determine whether the consciousness of the driver of the vehicle falls off owing to sleepiness when it is determined that the consciousness of the driver falls off (S12), and to perform vehicle guidance without performing any consciousness recovery operation when it is determined that the consciousness of the driver falls off owing to sleepiness (S24). Thus, when the consciousness of the driver of the vehicle falls off owing to sleepiness, sleepiness is prevented, and when the consciousness of the driver falls off owing to illness or the like, the further deterioration of the state of the driver is suppressed by making the driver lie quietly without performing any consciousness recovery operation.
