Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ECU determines whether or not an input torque T<SB>transmit</SB>inputted to a clutch and a brake immediately before a slip occurs is a predetermined value T2 or more (S50), and when the input torque T<SB>transmit</SB>is the predetermined value T2 or more, the ECU determines that a line pressure controlling mechanism is abnormal (S60). When the input torque T<SB>transmit</SB>is less than the predetermined value T2, the ECU determines that an operation switching mechanism is abnormal (S70).
