<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening-closing mechanism free from looseness and easy to mount, and also to provide a mounting method for the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The door opening-closing mechanism includes: a groove (recess) 33 formed on an end surface of hinge pin 17 of a hinge device 11 and having a noncircular cross section in a direction orthogonal to a depth direction; and a prismatic column (protrusion) 56 formed in a shaft 55 of a checking device 51, fitting in the groove 33, and transmitting a torque between the hinge pin 17 and the shaft 55. The depth direction of the groove 33 is inclined to the rotation axis of the hinge pin 17, and the rotation axis of the hinge pin 17 and that of the shaft 55 are in the same straight line after the hinge device 11 and the checking device 51 are assembled.
