<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a moving shelf facility for improving safety of a worker working in a work passage, using a simple constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This moving shelf facility 1 is provided so that the work passage X is selectively opened by the movement of a moving shelf 4; and when the worker enters the work passage X, an entrance into the work passage X is detected by an entrance sensor 12 and is interlocked for prohibiting the movement of the moving shelf 4. A push-button switch 18 is arranged on the work passage X side of the moving shelf 4; and when the push-button switch is operated, interlocking is set, disabling release by a release switch 15 which is arranged on a sub-panel 13.
