PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time necessary for operation and maintenance of a database. SOLUTION: This database management device managing the database stored in a storage device performs loading for storing data read from the storage device into a memory, reads/writes the data stored in the memory for task processing, performs unloading for writing the data stored in the memory into the storage device, and performs operation processing of the database by use of the data stored in the memory either at the loading or unloading.
