PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector which is advantageous on cost reduction and miniaturization, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the coaxial connector, a first central conductor 14 is projected to the center of one surface 12A of a plate 1201 in the width direction. A first external conductor 16 is arranged on one surface 12A of the plate 1201 so as to surround the periphery of the first central conductor 14. A second central conductor 18 is projected to the center of the other surface 12B of the plate 1201 in the width direction at the same axis of the first central conductor 14 and the first external conductor 16. A second external conductor 20 is arranged on the other surface 12B of the plate 1201 so as to surround the periphery of the second central conductor 18. The first and second central conductors 14, 18 are connected in common as a signal side, and the first and second external conductors 16, 20 are connected in common as a ground side.
