The method involves arranging resistant material bodies (20) between the frictionally cooperative surfaces of components (10',12'). The resistant material bodies are inserted in the surfaces of the components. The resistant material bodies are embedded in a non-metallic matrix. A volatile, drying or hardened matrix is used. The resistant material bodies consist of diamond, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, tungsten carbide, boron nitride or other ceramics. An independent claim is included for an arrangement of two frictionally connected components which are connected by respective frictionally cooperative surfaces.
