PURPOSE: A hybrid storage device and a method for assigning a logical block address of the hybrid storage device are provided to integrate storage devices in a single storage device and assign a logical block address, thereby supplementing disadvantages of the storage devices. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of storage units(230,240) comprises different recording modes. A RAID controller(220) assigns a logical block address after integrating the storage devices in the single storage device. The RAID controller controls the storage devices to be accessed. The RAID controller assigns an upper logical block address according to the faster speed order of the storage devices.
