PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical prize member, easily vertically placing a starting gate and a motor-driven opening and closing prize device even in the case where a large-sized pattern display device is installed on a game board surface of a game machine and the remaining installation space is narrow, and also not causing the situation where a game ball already passing through the starting gate enters the motor-driven opening and closing prize device intact. SOLUTION: This prize member 13 includes: a gate 14 allowing the game ball to pass therethrough; a guide material 17 for guiding the game ball passed through the gate 14 in the directions other than the direction of a prize hole 15; an opening and closing member (the motor-driven opening and closing prize device) 16 for regulating the game ball from entering the prize hole 15; a support 18 for supporting the opening and closing member 16 to be opened and closed; a base board 19 for fixing the prize member 13 to the board surface of the game board 4; a proximity sensor 30 for detecting passing of the game ball to the gate 14; and a driving device 21 for driving the opening and closing member 16.
