The invention is related to an apparatus for processing internetwork communication. The apparatus includes the communication select-adaptation unit and inner interface unit, and these two units connect successionally. The invention is also related to a system for processing internetwork communication, which includes the apparatus for processing internetwork communication, external communication module which connects the apparatus for processing internetwork communication, and several internetwork devices. The invention is also related to a communication connection-adaptation method, which includes: the apparatus for processing internetwork communication identifies the communication connect mode that can be workable; and allocates file according to this mode; the apparatus for processing internetwork communication selects the other connection mode when the connection mode is changed. The apparatus for processing internetwork communication can detect Ethernet, PLC, wireless connect mode etc., and allocates file according to the detected results. When a connect mode is interrupted, the apparatus can exchange the other connect mode rapidly, and maintains the up-layer communication continuity.
