The method involves preparing solid e.g. powder, or pasty feed component, bringing together a liquid i.e. water, and the component, and mixing the liquid with the component in a conveying mode. The fluid feed is conveyed in a direction of a discharge point (38) for feeding an animal i.e. pig, in the conveying mode, where the mixing and conveying are carried out simultaneously and/or continuously. Minimum and maximum filling levels of a feeding trough (40) is monitored by sensors (22, 24), where the trough stands in connection with the discharge point. An independent claim is also included for a fluid feeding system including a feed component inlet. |
