<p>A power supply apparatus (6) converting electric power stored in a first power storage unit (1) into a prescribed voltage for supply to a load (7) includes: a power storage unit-side terminal (T3, T4) coupled to the first power storage unit (1); a second power storage unit (3); a load-side terminal (T1, T2) coupled to the load (7); a converter unit (2) for increasing output voltage of the first power storage unit (1) to a first voltage and outputting the first voltage to the load-side terminal (T1, T2) at a time of discharging of the first power storage unit (1); a step-up circuit (4) for increasing the output voltage of the first power storage unit (1) and supplying the increased voltage to the second power storage unit (3); and a backflow prevention circuit (5) arranged between the second power storage unit (3) and the load-side terminal (T1) to allow current to flow from the second power storage unit (3) to the load-side terminal (T1) and block current flowing from the load-side terminal (T1) to the second power storage unit (3).</p> |
