<p>A plate (1) comprises a pressed molded body of wire. The plate consisting of pressed molded body of wire. The pressed molded body is made of a knitted material, where the knitted material is made as a knitted fabric. The knitted fabric is made as a tubular knitted fabric. The plate has at least one recess for passage of a screw or a wire, where the apparent density of the molded body in the region of the recess is higher than that of a segment of the molded body at a distance from the recess. Independent claims are included for following: (1) an implant comprising at least one recess for passage of a screw or a wire, where the implant consisting of pressed molded body of wire; (2) producing a plate involving providing a knitted material of wire, folding and/or rolling up the knitted material, and pressing the knitted material into a molded body; and (3) producing an implant involving providing a knitted material of wire, folding and/or rolling up the knitted material, and pressing the knitted material into a molded body, where press mold with at least one die is used in order to form at least one recess in the implant.</p> |
