PURPOSE: A polarizing plate, an optical member and a liquid crystal display are provided to the mechanical strength of a polarizing plate by improving the hardness of the protective layer. CONSTITUTION: In a polarizing plate, an optical member and a liquid crystal display, a polarizing plate has a protective layer at least one side of the polarizing plate. The polarizing film is formed by aligning the diachronic dye in the polyvinylalcohol resin film. A protective layer is comprised of a hardening material. The hardening material includes a hardening compound, a polymerization initiator, and an antistatic agent.
