PURPOSE: A composition for suppressing dental adhesion of Streptococcus mutans using a material which is specific to the Streptococcus mutans is provided. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing dental adhesion of Streptococcus mutans contains 0.1-10 weight% of chicken yolk derived IgY(immunoglobulin Y) as an active ingredient. The composition further contains 0.5-20 weight% of Houttuynia cordata or the Saururus chinensis Baill extract. The composition is used in the form of ointment, gel, spray, patch, strip or film. |
