CONTROLLING METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A control method of a washing machine which has a footwear spin-dry function is provided to improve the spin-drying performance by pausing the rotating drum for a moment and rotating the drum again in opposite direction. CONSTITUTION: A footwear washing course is selected by a user. According to a set value of the selected footwear washing course, a washing process, a rising process and a spin-dry processing are successively performed. The spin-dry processing has at least one cycle of swing operation in order to drain water from the inside of footwear(S). The swing operation is paused for a moment before the reverse rotation of a motor after the forward rotation in order to turn the footwear upside down.
