PURPOSE: A monitoring camera is provided to effectively sense a subject regardless of day and night. CONSTITUTION: A filter unit(130) filters a signal from a CCD board. The filter unit comprises a daytime optical filter(131) and a nighttime optical filter(132). A motor control unit(150) powers a motor based on a daytime signal and a nighttime signal. And the motor control unit transfers the daytime optical filter or the nighttime optical filter to a filter fixing unit. A zoom lens control unit(155) generates a zoom lens operation signal based on the daytime and nighttime signals.
