<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily allow excited light incident to a first clad from fiber side in a double clad fiber furnished with a second clad having a plurality of fine holes. <P>SOLUTION: The double clad fiber 20 includes: a core 1 doped with a light amplifying component; the first clad 2 so provided to cover the core 1; and the second clad 3 in which the plurality of fine holes extending along the core 1 are so provided to cover the first clad 2, wherein the second clad 3 is partially removed to expose the first clad 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
