<p>Apparatus for separating meat or fish from non-edible elements has a rotating perforated drum, means for feeding finely-divided meat bearing material to the circumference of the drum and a yielding band which exerts a pressure on the drum. The band moves at a speed different to that of the drum, so that band and drum form a throughput. Means are provided for removing the meat from the interior of the drum and for removing the material not pressed into the drum by the band.</p> |
