<p>The installation comprises devices which can move between the hoppers and the furnaces and which have receptacles or feed chutes emptying automatically to feed the furnaces. These devices are mounted on carriages which move below the row of hoppers and which are equipped with weighing devices. The hoppers have adjustable closures to meter the material being discharged into the furnaces. The entire operating cycle can be programmed and controlled automatically.</p> |
