and to a method for manufacturing a container for containing a treatment agent for treating a food preparation device such as a coffee machine, comprising the steps of:
- providing at least one sheet-like element with a predetermined thickness, which element is manufactured from a material with a structure, this structure defining a plurality of spaces in the thickness of the element;
- providing a treatment agent; and
- arranging the treatment agent in the spaces provided in the element.
