An occupant restraint system according to the present invention includes a side airbag device having a first airbag (11) for, in a side collision, receiving gas supply from an inflator (7) and inflating to deploy such that the first airbag covers a side internal surface of a passenger compartment (1), and a rear seat airbag device having a second airbag (20) that is housed in a support section (41) formed in a rear tray (5), the support section being covered with a lid (31), and, in a side collision, receives gas supply from the inflator (7), presses to open the lid (31), projects out of the support section (41), and inflates to deploy toward seating surfaces (4a) of rear seats (4). |
