<p>Suitable for reaction with aminoplasts to form lacquer films consist of: A 50-10% by wt. of polymer and/or oligomer containing N-CH2OH- or N-methylolether groups and B 50-90% by wt. of HO- and CO2H- containing polyesters having a mean M.W. of 600-3000 and produced by esterification of mixtures I and II; mixture I consists of: I.1 1-50 mol% pref. 10-40 mol% of one or more C3-6 aliphatic polyols having 3 or 4 OH groups and I.2 99-50, pref. 90-60 mol% of a mixture II of aliphatic and optionally cycloaliphatic diols wherein mixture II is II.1 100-0, pref. 100-50 mol% dipropylene glycol, and II.2 0-100, pref. 0-50 mol% diethylene glycol, in which optionally up to 30, pref. up to 20 mol% of total II.1 and and II.2 can be replaced by one or more aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diols in which OH functions are separated by 2-8C atoms and up to 2 C atoms can be replaced by O atoms which should be separated by at least 2 C atoms and mixture III is: III.1 100-40, pref. 75-50 mol% of one or more aromatic or cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acids or derivatives and III.2 0-60, pref. 25-50 mol% of one or more C4-Cl2 aliphatic dicarboxylic acids or derivatives.</p> |
