The scraper blade (2) is formed as an endless scraper blade, which comprises breaking points (3) at defined distances along their extending direction. The breaking points are formed in the form of lateral grooves transverse to the longitudinal direction of the scraper blade, which extends partly transverse over the upper surface of the scraper blade. The scraper blade is made of metal, particularly steel or fiber-reinforced plastic, particularly glass or carbon fiber strengthened plastic or thermoplastic base materials, such as polypropylene, polyethylene or polyamide. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a scraper blade.
